Delhi Daredevils managed to put together a respectable total of 173/7, thanks to De Villiers (44), Karthik (44) and Dilshan (37). Ojha took 26-2 for the Deccan Chargers.

Deccan was doing very well with their run chase till the 16th over. Gilchrist (64) and Symonds (41) put their team in a postion to attain their target of 174 runs with ease. The Deccan Chargers were at 149/4 and only needed 25 runs from the last 3 overs, with 6 wickets in hand. But the Delhi Daredevils pulled off what almost seemed impossible. Rajat Bhatia took 4 wickets, conceding only 15 runs and the Deccan Chargers were bowled out for 161.
