INDIA ARE EXCITED

Ravindra Jadeja has said that there is an excitement in the Indian camp for the third ODI match against England which is going to be played in the hometown of the Indian skipper MS Dhoni. This will be the first International cricket match at Ranchi.

Jadeja admitted that it would be a special occasion and the whole team would try to win that match for the ‘captain cool’.

Jadeja was talking to the reporters ahead of the Ranchi ODI. When asked if the team is excited about playing in the skipper’s hometown, Jadeja said, “Yes, we are all a bit excited about the game. This is our skipper’s hometown and we will try to win this match for him.”

“Dhoni himself is quite excited about playing in front of his family members and his childhood friends. It’s a new wicket. So, we don’t really know how it’s going to behave. But, it looks a bit dry and it might start helping the spinners in the second innings.”

“It’s really a great stadium. There are outstanding facilities available here and I am sure many more games will be organized at this venue in the future.”

When asked about his performance in the last game, Jadeja said, “I hadn’t played a good knock since quite a while, so, there was a bit of pressure on me. But, I decided to play my natural game and Dhoni’s presence at the other end also helped. He guided me and told me not to throw away my wicket.”

“Our performance in the last game was brilliant, but, we need to keep the momentum going.”

When asked about the poor form of Virat Kohli, Jadeja said, “He is not in bad form. He is hitting the ball quite well. Even in the last match, he played some brilliant shots. He is not too far away from playing a big knock.”
