He still is considered the best indian captain ever,thats what makes us believe that he will play well both as a captain and player,he quit international cricket 4 years ago and never really got into T20’s,but now I admit that his captaincy is not suited 4 T20 cricket.
Im saying it once again,Pune lost 5 wickets for 50 runs so the situation demanded ganguly to play slowly,but even then he scored at better than run a ball.Recently u can see dilshan and jayawardena who r considered much more aggressive players than ganguly struggled to score at even run a ball.Ganguly is 2nd on the list of most no. of sixes hit by an indian player in odi’s which itself proves how defensive a player he is,and its not that if he plays well then only we will be happy.
